Princess Cafe

This restaurant was a referral and it did not disappoint. Called and was able to get a same day reservation. We arrived and the parking lot was packed but we could smell the food. The staff was welcoming and there was a wait but they kept us updated. Family feel atmosphere a little loud but the service overshadowed any misses. Tiffany was amazing!!!!!! Thank you for a great service.

Never eaten from this place before until today. Was concerned about biting into very pink meatballs. When I called the place to ask if that was normal for it to be pink (if they serve it that way since most restaurants cook differently) the lady got offended and told me “We cook hundreds of meatballs a day. It is not raw, throw it in the microwave.” She then proceeds to talk to the employee about me saying I asked a “stupid question.” She then proceeds to tell me there is nothing wrong with my food. After I heard her say that, I asked to speak with a manager which she goes up to them and tells the owner/chef that “She won’t shut up and that I would like to speak to him.” He gets on the phone two seconds later and acted like he didn’t hear her say any of that. He said “the kitchen was too loud” he then asks what my “complaint” was which I then corrected him that it was only a concern since they were pink if this is how it’s normally cooked. He gets very offended like the lady I had previously talked to and continues to disrespect me over a simple question. After all of that disrespect and the fact that I only bit into two meatballs, I asked for a refund since the service was incredibly bad. (If they would have told me their meatballs are suppose to be served pink like and they were nice about it I wouldn't have asked for a refund) I told them I would bring all of the food back tomorrow when they opened for a refund and the owner/chef told me to do him a favor never to go back there then hangs up. Never once did I disrespect them yet got called out of my name by grown adults and disrespected by staff who are not going to refund me.

Such a treat to visit again with my mother to celebrate her special day! The chateaubriand was outstanding as usual and the cocktails were delicious! This supper club never changes but that is a good thing. You can always count on a terrific meal and good service which makes for a lovely evening! Highly recommend making reservations on any evening because this place is popular!

-This is over a 200$ dinner for 2, they should up there game, but then again, I tell myself, this isn't Chicago it's Beecher.🤦‍♀️ - was seated in a half moon booth,ridiculous. These seats should be removed since it only seats 2, you sit next to each other looking at the bar, so awkward. So when you ask for a booth in the bar, make sure you ask for a table that seats 4 so you can have a normal conversation with your significant other on your anniversary. - we ordered the Saganaki appetizer. I've had this hundreds of times throughout my life and never have I gotten a cold slab of French bread set upon a pile of packaged crackers, so tacky and truthfully, unsanitary. You should have warm, fresh pita with this $15 appetizer. - the French onion soup, well, if you love cheese then this is the soup for you!!! There was barely any broth. Again, I've had French onion soup, 1000 times in my life and this is the first time it had such an obnoxious amount of cheese. - Those meatballs they put at your table when seats are very gross!!! And they don't pair well with cold, hard, French bread!!!! - The dinner. While my husband got the surf and turf for $92 and I just had the Grecian chicken, not once did our waitress come and ask how our meal was or if we needed anything. Now mind you, our reservations was for 5 PM. The place was not busy yet. This was our second time here. Last summer we had an excellent experience, the service and the food was stellar...what happened Princess Cafe?

Food was very good. I had the Burger they offered on half off burger Wednesdays and the french onion Soup. Both were very good. Burger tasted as if they used a ground up steak and the mushrooms that were used were absolutely fantastic. Lighting was a little dim. All and all it's a hidden gem of Beecher/the local area. I love the Prawn/Lobster they have as a logo/mascot.

I went there for the first time on my birthday. Restaurant is located in Beecher which is far but I was told it was good. My boyfriend took me there. It's very cozy feeling in the inside. We were seated right away, we had reservations. Looking at the restaurant it was busy so I would get reservations. We sat down and our waitress, I think Debbie, came over right away. She brought out waters, menus, bread and told us the specials, also took our drink order. Ok skipping to the food. We ordered escargot and first bite was so delish. Then both of us ordered steak and lobster. That was one of the specials. The size of dinner was huge. I got at least a 12 oz lobster trail. It was so worth the money. This is a diamond restaurant. Look at my food. Well worth the money. The filet and lobster was 72 dollarS... it was worth every dime. Update: took my daughters for dinner and it was just as good. Bonus the lemon and tiramisu desserts were amazing.
